In Villar Loubière take the trail to "Col des Mourres Rouges", around 1450 m take the left bank of the stream. Inside of this, very big spilites outcrops showing mineralisation on their top. No workings here, just quartz almonds in spilites.
"(Coming from Saint-Firmin-en-V.) From Saint-Firmin follow the D985A east. Chalcopyrite, galena, and malachite in the quartzites in the area, particularly at Querges, at the Col des Mourres and in the riverbed." [Belot, 1978]
