A cluster of ca. six quarries near the shore of the lake.

Ihlen (2001) reports that all the Massævatnet quarries are worked into a single pegmatite, measuring 280x100-120 m.

West of this pegmatite, another pegmatite outcrops, measuring 340x300 m, and could possibly be connected with the æstern one.

The coordinates are for the largest group of quarries, close to the lake.
