Stensrud (2009) reports that he found a thick quartz vein in which there have been placed a few blasts.

He reports to have observed beryl crystals frozen in the quartz with a nice sky blue color, though not transparant.

The coordinates are somewhat unsure, but studying an aerial map of 1972 there is clearly white rock to be seen at these coordinates.

However, there might have been blasting at another place too, since also here white rock is visible:
