Vote for your favorite mineral in #MinCup26! - Quartz vs. Asagiite
It's a classic vs a newbie as the most common named mineral in the crust Quartz is up against an exceedingly-rare sea foam-green mineral discovered just a few years ago Asagiite.

A feldspar and quartz quarry that was started after Bjørllyke's time.

Stensrud (2009) writes that when he visited this quarry in the 1990's, Knut Mølland mined here both quartz and feldspar.

This quarry has become famous for superb specimens of aeschynite-(Y) and spessartine.

Stensrud (2009) reports that in the microcline in the wall of the quarry cavities/fractures of up to 5-10 cm wide could be seen. In these there were small crystals of microcline, muscovite, albite and calcite.

Collectors are NOT welcome here!
