A former small tin mine with underground workings and shafts.
Operated in the 1940s to 1950s.
Destroyed by large scale open cut mining 1963-1970.
The shaft reached 48 metres deep. Contained NNW trending east dipping quartz veins parallel to the bedding and sometimes cross cutting it. The reef flattened at the 18 metre level into stockwork veining then steepened 65 degrees east. The principal reef was 0.48 metres wide with Sn values ranging from 1.58 Sn to 10-15% Sn at deeper levels. The lodes contained cassiterite, wolframite and arsenopyrite.
