Beloura Tank
Located approximately 13 to 14 miles south-east of Nymagee on the Balowra Road.
A former small underground mine comprising two shafts and shallow pits.
Prospected by Placer Prospecting Pty Ltd in 1967, Australian Oil and Gas Corp Ltd in 1968, Cyprus Mines Corp/Grace Ore Mining Co in 1969-1971.
When inspected 1977 there were two historic prospecting shafts and a few pits with intermittent iron-manganese oxide rocks on trend 1.2 kms. One shaft was at a depth of 21 metres. There was no collar on the shaft. Kaolin infill noted containing siderite spheroids.
