A stone (crushed/broken) deposit/pit operation located in the NW¼NW¼SW¼ sec. 29 and in the NE¼NE¼SE¼ sec. 30, T4S, R8E, SBM, 6.5 km (4/1 miles) SE of Indio Hills (town), along the E side of Dillon Road, at the Associated Ready Mix Concrete property, on private land. Owned & operated by R Bar C Sand and Gravel, Inc. (100%), California (1990), and/or by James E. Simon Company (100%), California (1990). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10/100 meters.
NOTE: The 2 USGS MRDS database files present geographic coordinates that place this locality in either sec. 29 or sec. 30, too far E and too far W of the only gravel pit operation reflected on either the topo or street maps. The coordinates presented here are taken from the topo map at the location of the gravel pit symbol and outlined area straddling the section lines.
