Anseremme is a sub-municipality of Dinant in the Belgian province of Namur.
Small calcite crystals can be found in different places because the rock present, is limestone.
As it is located in a Devonian area, there are quite some fossils to find too.
The area is also rich in caves and quite a few were inhabited by early humans and silex (flint) tools and shards were frequently found by sieving the earth at the entries of the caves in the 80s and early 90s. Now all this is forbidden because on private land.
