Located 5 kilometres north-east of Phil's Quarry, on the western side of the Fraser Range. The quarry is on the high side of a prominent north-east trending ridge. In 1991, Maritana Gold NL dug an exploration pit, 17 metres long. Located in laminated quartzofeldspathic mylonite granite gneiss, 40 to 50 metres wide, interlayered with zones of foliated pyroxene granulite. Pink banded granulitic gneiss contains a feldspar rich augen area up to 50 metres long, with garnet and biotite rich lenses.
