A gold mine along Canyon Creek downstream of Mill Creek. The ore occurred as veins in shears in quartzite of the Early Cretaceous Harts Pass Formation. The veins contained mainly quartz with trace gold and silver assays. It produced some ore from 1911-1913.
Structure: Jur-Cret Fold And Thrust Belt Shear Zone
Tectonics: Cascade Volcanic Arc
Deposit: Quartz veins in 6-24 in. Wide shear zone
Deposit type: Polymetallic veins
Development: In 1908 a 4-stamp mill was erected. No shipments made As of 1918. Exploration of vein system underway in 1990
