A lead-silver mine SW of Colville. The ore occurred as disseminations and lenses parallel to the bedding of limestone near the contact with the Maitlan Phyllite. Some veins cut the bedding of the limestone. Development consisted of a 920' adit, a 240' adit, and some pits. It produced from 1951-1955.
Structure: Sheared Zone Near Limestone - Schist Contact.
Commodity: December 1952 production averaged 12 to 15 percent lead and zinc and 10 ounces silver
Deposit: Ore occurs As rich pods of galena and sphalerite in limestone near sheared contact with schistose greenstone. Apparently does not persist more than 50 feet below surface.
Rock formation(s): Maitlen Phyllite, Limestone, Schist
