The Ringneck Gold Mine is a small modern abandoned open pit, approximately 4 kilometres south of the Jubilee processing plant, and one kilometre west of the Kalgoorlie-Kambalda Road. It was developed in recent decades to feed ore to the processing plant. The Indian open pit is 500 metres south south-east, and Golden Chief mine 500 metres north north-east.

It was discovered by prospectors Westhead and Wallace (surnames) in 1919. A 5 tonne trial parcel of specimen stone was extracted. A shaft had been sunk to 30 feet. The mine was in the midst of an earlier alluvial rush called Grundy's Gully, at the contact of granite and greenstone.
