Cave Hill is a north-east to south-west line of workings, including shafts, mullock, a small trench and possibly a shed. It is located about 2 kilometres south of the Siberia Consols Mine (where the road to the Theil Well Gold Mine turns sharply south-east to south), and immediately west of the road.

It is noted in 1911, the mine had produced 10 000 pounds worth of gold the previous three years. Development was being undertaken by James Correll, who also owned at times the Pole and Siberia Consols mines, and the Siberia Hotel. During Correll's time the mine produced 651 tonnes of ore yielding 1826 ounces of gold.

Renewed interest was seen at the location in the late 1940's. Harry Ware and Darby Clarke cleaned out the old workings and discovered several rich patches left behind by Correll. Ware was Treasurer of the Amalgamated Leaseholders and Prospectors Association.

Around the same time, D. Slater and A. Frank dollied 5 ounces from their P.A., and had extracted 6 tons of battery stone from a schist lode 18 feet down. Ivan Knezovich GML 2232W Cave Hill North crushes 11.5 tonnes 9 ounces 15 dwt.
