Inactive Fe-Mn mine.
Two quartz veins with iron and manganese oxides, oriented N50ºE and dipping 50º to 60ºSE, with a length of 3,100 m; northeast of the Rosalgar vein, Fe-Mn impregnations appear in the schists.
In the Serra do Rosalgar, there are also Tertiary conglomerates in which a ferromanganese-rich matrix cements blocks of schist, quartz, and quartzite.
