The Bells Gold Mine is 500 metres west of the Sickle Gold Mine, and 8 kilometres east of Laverton.
The deposit has a JORC Indicated resource of 590 000 tonnes of ore at 2.0 g/t yielding 38 000 ounces of gold, and an Inferred resource of 40 000 tonnes of ore at 1.4 g/t yielding 1700 ounces. The deposit is hosted in the Barnicoat Shear. A small abandoned open pit marks the site.
The deposit contains highly altered chert, carbonaceous shale, massive sulphides, and a zone of laminated quartz with visible gold. The mineralisation closely resembles that of the Ida H Mine, 2 kilometres to the south.
