Marked by a small open pit 300 metres north of the Cox-Crusader open pit. One geologist states the pit is not well preserved.
The deposit is found on a sheared contact below moderately to steep west dipping komatiite Footwall and tholeiitic Hanging wall, on the west limb of the Lawlers Anticline.
Gold is hosted by basal tholeiitic basalt. The pit shows north north-east to west north-west striking faults. The deposit has a complex and chaotic event history related to the extensional deformation.
Deliverer contains 3 high grade shoots, near the ultramafic-basalt contact, plunging 45 degrees north-west. Gold is found in a flexure in the western dipping contact.
Lodes are lensoid or elliptical, 5 to 12 metres thick, and extend 70 metres down dip. The zone persists for 300 metres down plunge. Gold is associated with chlorite-epidote-magnetite alteration.
Part of the deposit is called the Pilgrim Lode. This is found in the ultramafic contact in the Deliverer Lode, within the heavily chloritised Pilgrim Shear. The ore zone here is 5 to 7 metres thick and dips 60 degrees west.
