The Tuscana Gold Mine is at the far southern end of the field, and a kilometre or so south of the Corboy Find Mine (see this locality for directions). There appears to be a small amount of battery sands tailings, but further details would require an on-site inspection.
The mine was developed by Guazzelli (possibly Priamo Guazzelli) in the 1920's. Details were found from 1924. Another nearby lease owned by Guazzelli was The Sun Set, and also Tuscana North. Ore was initially carted by donkey teams some 50 kilometres or more to the Sir Samuel State Battery to the west. By 1927, the site had a 3 head battery, formerly at Bronzewing, elsewhere in the district.
A small crushing is also noted in 1932, but by whom is not said.
