Wedgetail is on the north-west margin of the complex, 1700 metre strike and 10-80 metres wide.
The deposit is estimated to contain a resource of 22.9 mt @ 1.08% Ni.
The proposed mine contains disseminated and massive sulphides, hosted by a north striking, moderately to steeply easterly dipping sequence of olivine orthocumulate and spinifex textured rocks. The primary sulphide zone contains pyrrhotite, pentlandite, pyrite and minor grains of chalcopyrite and trace gersdorffite. The massive sulphide is interlocking polygonal shaped coarse grains of pyrrhotite and pentlandite with minor pyrite. On the eastern contact is very minor low Cu ore of pentlandite and heazlewoodite.
