Rodingitic rocks in the area to the east of Col de la Croix and along the western slope of Cima Piana or Monte-de-Panaz.

Typical crystallised minerals include pale pink grossular, green vesuvianite (crystals up to 1 cm in length), green diopside, dark green epidote, yellow titanite, magnetite, and clinochlore.
