Adjoined the Barrambie Range Gold Mine to the south. In November 1906 a company was floated in Melbourne to develop the mine. A shaft was sunk to 123 feet on a reef 3 feet wide. By 1908, somehow the 50 000 pounds capital had been expended, and the mine closed. It limped along for another year with a couple of small crushings, before the company was wound up. Another gamble by shareholders that did not pay off.
