Discovered by Barra Resources sometime after 2000 when they took over the tenements. At the time of writing (2015), the deposit was un-developed.
The deposit consists of a single high grade quartz lode, 1 to 3 metres wide, and striking for 55 metres, within altered and sheared felsic volcanic rocks in the Diablo-Bob Hope structural corridor. The lode is sub-vertical, with high grade gold mineralisation in a dilation zone plunging steeply north. Above the lode to the surface is 30 metres containing very little gold.
The deposit has a JORC Inferred Resource estimate of 8480 tonnes of ore at 13.7 g/t Au yielding 3740 ounces of gold.
