The Lloyd George gold mine is directly south of this lease. Located about 25 kilometres south-west of Coolgardie, and 10 kilometres north-west of the Queen Victoria Rocks Road, in an area of old abandoned gold mines. Information on activity was found from 1921 to 1923, and again briefly early 1930's.
During its early 1920's period, the lode was described as large and low grade, at 7 dwt average. Very rich ore was struck at the 100 foot level in 1923. In 1921, the mine is owned by Jack Murphy, Martin Lillis, Jones and party, and appear to retain ownership until 1923 when information dries up.
The owners in 1932 were W. Dixon and J. Haig. A S.J. Yeo took out an option over the mine, and this was the last information found.
