This is a Au mining area along the Bear River (Placer County line). Most of this district is in the Emigrant Gap (town) area of Placer County. Clark (1970a) includes the Zeibright Mine in this district despite the fact that it is in Nevada County. Similarly, the USGS MRDS database places it in this district as a locality in Nevada County.
