Old sandstone quarries open during the seventeenth century.

Departmental archives indicate that some inhabitants of Marpiré (city nearby Broons-Sur-Vilaine) worked in this quarry at that time. No one knows when these quarries were abandoned. The memory of those quarries remains only thanks to the testimonies.

Sandstone is crossed by numerous quartz veins. The prismatic crystals are frequent but small (rarely more than one centimeter).

The vegetation has invaded the site, the locality is anecdotal.
