Outcrop of serpentinite (serpentinised peridotite) located at the mouth of the Bognanco Valley, below the village of Cisore (Domodossola municipality) on the left side of Bogna brook.
This rock, having a peculiar texture and composition (forsterite, chrysotile, antigorite, enstatite, and talc), was actively quarried in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
