This locality is one of the several workings for exotic barium minerals. Technically a specimen mine.
The 2 principal individuals involved in the Mindat entry are Bob Walstrom (Walstromite) and Eckhard Stewart (Eckhardite), both prolific field collectors and Bob is a professional geologist responsible for the discovery of multiple species new to science.

Surface workings and adit on sanbornite vein, located a few metres above Rush Creek.
