A series of shafts, adits and trenches on a small hill, identified on old maps as Montagnes des Mines (Mine Hill) Lot 1, Range VII in the former Marlow township, near the former Saint-Rufine now Saint-Robert-de-Bellarmin. The mine was explored in 1885-1887 and the mineral of interest was gold, but none was found. Instead argentiferous galena and scheelite was found in quartz veins. This was the earliest reported occurrence of scheelite in Quebec and probably in Canada. The Saint-Robert Metals Mine, a short distance to the East, is apparently on the same deposit.
