Vassijaure is a railway station along the Malmbanan and E10 road in Kiruna Municipality, located at the eastern end of Lake Vássejávri and at the foot of the mountain Vássečohkka, the eastern peak of which is 1,590 metres above sea level. Vassijaure is Sweden's northernmost railway station, located a few kilometres east of Katterjåkk. Katterjåkk was first called Vassijaure and the term Gamla Vassijaure ("Old Vassijaure") has been used.
