Cantera Armansa, Lesaka, Navarra
Limestone quarry located south of the village of Vera de Bidasoa, close to the river and on its left bank. Not to be confused with the one on the other bank of the river, the Arkaitza quarry.
Although this quarry area is located near the town of Vera de Bidasoa, it extends on both sides of the Bidasoa River. The left bank belongs to the municipality of Lesaka and the right to Vera. The most significant calcite crystals were found on the left bank of the river, in the Armasa Quarry, which would belong to the municipality of Lesaka, but the nearest village is Vera de Bidasoa.
