Hydrothermal quartz veins carrying molybdenite.
Bugge (1963) mentiones two small mines, ca. 400 m apart, operated in 1884, producing 10 tons of MoS2.
The NGU mentions production from the mine with the here presented coordinates in two separate periods, one of them 1883-84, producing 10 tons of MoS2.
The mine is an inclined shaft, ca. 35 m deep in a 15-20 degree angle. The width of the molybdenite carrying vein varies from 2-3 cm to 1 m., with MoS2 in a 0.5-1 cm wide contact zone in the lying contact.
The NGU report mentions a Lars-Nilsa mine ca. 100 m south of this one, but they weren't able to locate it.
