Beryl and emerald. 545,254E and 6,998, 990N AGD66, Located 250 metres south-west of the Aga Khan mine. Mined briefly in October 1982 by Minerals and Metal Exchange of Western Australia. They mined 6000 tonnes of schist and recovered 20 000 carats of emerald. These were sold to India but the quality of the emerald did not making mining further a viable option.
