Located 10 kilometres south-east of Ora Banda.
This was once a popular fossicking site for common opal. At the time of writing (2013), access was not permitted due to active gold mining operations in the area. The Coolgardie Gem and Mineral Club have at times gained permission to access the site on field trips.
The opalite comes in sometimes attractive white, red, brown, yellow and green from the site.
It is thought to be further down the Black Flag Road compared to the Black Flag Mindat opalite site, covering an area of approximately 20 hectares. Annoyingly the writer has not been able to access the site for fear of being crushed by a haulpak. Map is approximate only, and anyone who has visited the site in the past is encouraged to correct it. The source states the location is 320110 MGA easting 6637126 MGA northing Zone 51, but warns the location is approximate.
