A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the SE¼NW¼ sec. 35, T12N, R11E, MDM, 4.3 km (2.6 miles) NW of Slate Mountain, on the W slope of the Slate Mountains, and 4.5 km (2.8 miles) SSE of Georgetown, on either private or National Forest land. Operated by E. W. Little. Operated intermittently during the period 1921 to 1941 and in 1951. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body is 2.44 meters thick. The vein varies from 1½ to 8 feet thick. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 600 foot crosscut adit and 2,400 feet of drifts. A 10-stamp mill was erected on the property.

A small amount of Au was produced in 1951.
