There are numerous outcrops in the municipality of Ulldemolins of Lutites and gypsum belonging to the stratigraphic unit "Ulldemolins complex" of Eocene age where is can find numerous samples of different colors of jasper, chert and quartz.
It has placed the location of one of these outcrops for ease of access there are many others, such as an abandoned gypsum quarry located at km 35 of the road C-242.
