Found of Wonyulgunna Station, east of the Kumarina Roadhouse, by a local in June 1937, and about 25 kilometres south-east of Wonyulgunna Hill. It was recovered from the local collector by O.M. Bender who presented it to the Western Australian Museum.

It is 42cm x 29cm x 13cm with a specific gravity of about 7. The reference admits no detailed analysis had been done on the rock, but provides some information regardless.

It is 8.26% nickel. Kamacite plates average 1cm long and 0.5-2.5mm wide. It is a medium octahedrite. There are large areas of interstitial eutectic up to 7mm x 6mm, containing crossing bundles of minute kamacite plates each 0.1mm or less wide. There is considerable variations in the arrangement of these secondary kamacite crystals.

Bronze coloured troilite is abundant as cylindrical masses averaging 1cm in diameter. One is enfolded by a thin layer of schreibersite, and this species is also scattered irregularly over the surface. There are a large number of solid masses and tablets of cohenite, distributed in groups.
