Inactive talc quarry in Val Sora, a little valley on the eastern slope of Rocca di Castellaccio.

Sulphides, Ti and Ni minerals are found in Triassic dolomite marbles (Lanzada-Scermendone Zone, Suretta Nappe) at the contact with the Malenco serpentinite body.
