An old Fe occurrence/mine located near Upper Hibernia, on private land. Owned by Daryl Bread Hoitt, Wharton, NJ.

Mineralization is an Fe deposit hosted in mixed gneiss. The ore body dips 25-30 NE at a width of 0.91 meter. Ore is seams of magnetite up to 6 inches (15 cm) thick in host rock. Ilmenite is also present in the ore. The magnetite contains exsolved spinel and hematite. An amphibolite lens occurs next to the deposit.

Workings include surface and underground openings with an overall depth of 30.48 meters and comprised of one very deep shaft and two shallower pits. A shaft was inclined at 35 degrees.
