Lacroix (1922) describes a find of large nodules of anorthite with yellow tremolite and violet corundum on the left bank of the Menakaralahy River.

The coordinates are for the river. The very spot where the nodules were found is not known.

Manakaralahy is a misnomer used in some litterature.
