Minerals are found inside quartz-calcite veinlets in sandstone.

From Bobbio towards Marsaglia, follow for 7 km the State road S.S. 45 and, after the locality of San Salvatore, turn left into the dirt road towards Telecchio.
The Telecchio village is located at a distance of 3 km (Bobbio municipality), but the mineral site is 800-1250 metres from the beginning of the dirt road (Corte Brugnatella municipality), at an altitude of 400-600 m.

Anatase and brookite are found in small erratic boulders, inside 6-7 mm thick veinlets filled with tiny quartz crystals.
