A housing subdivision constructed ca. 2005 consisting of Sterling and Barkledge Drives. During construction myriad fault veins cutting basalt were intersected containing the typical local suite of hydrothermal minerals (dolomite, calcite, quartz, barite, aragonite, bitumen, sulfides & secondaries), plus gas vesicles in basalt with prehnite, datolite, calcite, quartz.

Habit: Acicular with rectangular cross-section and inverted v terminations.
Colour: Colorless to white.
Fluorescence: Blue-white under all wavelengths.
Description: Radiating acicular to 1 cm in voids in earthy, chocolate-brown goethite in fault veins.

Description: Crusts with other secondaries in fault veins.
