Grube St Christian, Hohensachsen, Weinheim, Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, Regierungsbezirk Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland
An old copper mine, worked from 1777 until 1786, but probably started earlier although this is not documented. The deposit consists of copper-bearing veins of silicified baryte that are hosted in granite. The ores were transported to Schriesheim, were they were used to produce vitriol and alum.
