Several feldspar quarries in the area of the Lauvrak Farm.
A K-rich granite pegmatite dike about 200 m x 600m large. It has been quarried for feldspar in about 12 places, all abandoned today. The pegmatite is located about 400-500 m NW of the Lauvrak Farm and South of Bjellåsen .
The largest quarries being the Middle (Midtre) Lauvrak Quarry and the Northen (Nordre) Quarry.
The largest quarry, Midtre Lauvrak, situated near the western border, measured 280x40 m with a depth of 10 m.
Assuming that 40% of the rock that was taken out of K feldspar.
The K feldspar crystals measured on average 0,5-2 m with a maximum length of 4 m.
