In granite pegmatite.

"The deposit was worked from a trench in 1910 by Ojaipee Silica Feldspar Company which produced 90 t of feldspar and 1350 t of quartz." Allanite crystals up to 7cm wide,3cm thick and 90cm long have been reported.
