A meteorite fall discovered in either 1869 or 1870 ½ mile from Shingle Springs (direction = unknown).

An ataxite meteorite at 38.5 kg, containing 16.95% Ni and 81.4% Fe. Other elements present include Co with traces of Al, Cr, Mg, Ca, C, Si, P, S, K, Ge, Ga & Ir.
