Area around or near the Malakialaina pegmatite where specimens of garnet and kyanite etc has been found.
A kyanite-staurolite bearing micaschist is located N of Malakialina pegmatite, traversing the road between Bemoto to Ampandramaika.
Large amounts of kyanite has also been found in an area of several km 2 SE of Malakialina, in the eluvials.
