Wiewiora et al. (1991) discuss an amesite found in vesicules in rock fragment from the soils derived from a serpentinite at Mount Sobotka, Lower Silesia, Poland. This refers to the serpentinites of the Ślęża Massif (German: Zobten-Gebirge).
