A gold mine north of Republic next to the Insurgent and Lone Pine Mines. It was developed by a 690' deep shaft. Production is reported to be 86,000 tons at 0.35 oz/ton gold and 3.29 oz/ton silver.
Tectonics: Epithermal Deposits Of The Republic District Are Found In The Eocene Sanpoil Volcanics. (See Republic District For Additional Details.)

Deposit: Host rocks for gold deposits of the republic district are dacite and andesite flows, flo W breccias, tuffs, and tuff breccias of the eocene sanpoil volcanics (muessig, 1967, p. 50-51; tschauder, 1989, p. 242). ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Development: ECON.COM: PRODUCED $3,000,000 BY THE END OF 1923; PRODUCED AGAIN IN 1940 (HUNTTING, 1956, P. 122).

Ore(s): The Vein In Andesite Flow Breccia Averages 8 Ft. In Width. Vein Filling Consists Of Chalcedonic Banded Quartz, Calcite, And Fragment Of Country Rock. Ore Was Largely Removed Above The 500-Ft. Level (Huntting, 1956, P. 121). (See Republic District For Additional Details.)
