"(Coming from Saint-Étienne-de-Lugdarès). South of Pradelles on the N106 until Langogne. South of this city on the D906 until La Bastide-Puylaurent. Turn left onto the D4. Baryte, fluorite, and quartz in a mine." [Belot, 1978]
Old fluorite mine (started in 1925 and closed in 1968) located on a long quartz-fluorite vein, about 1 km east of Saint-Laurent-les-Bains. This deposit is well known for the strange shape of the green fluorite crystals (octahedrons looking like "melted candies").
