Location: This placer occurrence is on an unnamed, north-flowing tributary to the Kanuti River about 0.5 mile upstream from its mouth. The creek is is about 6.2 miles north-northeast of the north end of Tokusatatquaten Lake in the SW1/4 section 14, T. 16 N., R. 17 W. of the Fairbanks Meridian. The location is accurate within 1 mile.
Geology: Two very fine gold flakes were noted in eight panned samples collected from this unnamed creek. The panned samples contain 2,119 ppb gold and 252 ppm chromium (Kurtak and others, 2002). The rocks in the area are chlorite schist and interbedded metagraywacke cut by quartz veinlets (Patton and Miller, 1973). Upstream, the creek passes over the contact of the Sithylemenkat Pluton. No other information is available.
Workings: Placer claims were located in the 1960's and 1970's.
Age: Quaternary.
