Location: The Husky occurrence, at the center of an old Kennicott claim block, is at an elevation of about 1,400 feet, about 6 miles west of the Kelly River. The map site is at the west-central edge of section 22, T. 31 N., R. 16 W., of the Kateel River Meridian. The location is accurate within 2 miles.
Geology: The Husky occurrence consists of galena and sphalerite in veins cutting Mississippian-Permain Endicott Group sandstones (Noatak Formation?). Husky has been interpreted as a sedimentary exhalative Zn-Pb deposit (Werden, 1998).
Workings: Kennecott held claims in 1984.
Age: Mississippian to Permian.
